Trying to remain Humble...

Wow. since the last entry, I've uploaded 2 batches of photo's (about 16 shots alltogether), and I've literally gotten at least a dozen comments and just as many fav's. I'm trying to stay humble, but to be honest, I can't help but feel almighty and powerful. Either way, I've been getting better and better, and I don't think I'm ever going to really stop. I shall try my best not to become egotistical though.

To let everyone know ahead of time, On the 19th, I went out with my camera and tripod and finally went on a "photo-walk". No destination of purpose other than to find picture opperotunities and get them. I'll tell you now, I took easily over 160 shots, and I'm probably going to upload at least a few dozen of them. I started off at my house, went down to west avenue for a minute, then went down to the waterfront. If anyone knows the Sewaren area, they know it's right next to the river. So I go down, and I walk down the entire length from the first dock (which is old and abandoned) all the way to the second dock (which is an active public area). Then, I went back down West Ave, and went back home. It was a great "experiance", and I got a lot out of it, both in photo's and in techniques. I'll say now, that a lot of the shot's I took on the second dock look a lot like Roninsindre's [link] .

Besides photography, I, for no apparent reason, recently got back to work on project GSI. For those who don't remember, GSI was a Windowsd Media Player skin with embedded games. I started work on it again, and I think I might finish it this time...

Basically, that's the only way to describe this week.
First off, yes the 10th was my B-day, I am 17 now. But to be honest, I could care less, and I know a lot of you out there could to...

Anyways, I took a few lessons from my father on photography. He taught me a few tricks with the manual settings, and gave a me a few tips that I hadn't come up with yet on my own. Hopefully, they will help me get better quality shots. By quality, I mean "Not Grainy".

Also, on the 13th, I was really "In The Mood" for photography, and I probably took about 70-80 shots withing a 6 hour period. I've uploaded one of them, with a few older ones. But tomorrow (12/15/04) Expect at least 7-a dozen shot's to be uploaded.

Finally...

On the 29th of Nov, I had my camera returned to my by my father. For once, he held to his word. I was still not allowed to bring it to school with me.

On the 2nd, I ranted on photography. "Photography. Why all the contravoursey?" [link] .

On the 3rd, the weekend began, and I finally had the opperotunity to take shotsof ANY sort. I got a couple good shots on the 4th.

On the 6th (today), My father finally got around to reason, and we struck a deal. I can bring my camera to school and back, but I need to keep it in my backpack during class, hence the optomism. To let everyone know, that's exactly what I've been suggesting to them since the beginning. >_>...
